Senniyo Aesthetics International School of Canada Inc. (SENNIYO) was incorporated in May 1995 and registered with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (of BC) under registration number 1258.

 
Mrs. Survana Yuen, founder of Senniyo Beauty and Figure International and principal of SENNIYO, is well known nationally and in Asian region for the high caliber of training that the school offers.

 

Senniyo Aesthetics International School of Canada Inc. was established as mean of maintaining the high standards that have been set forth within the Esthetics Industry. Our spacious classrooms with the latest equipment make the school an ideal study environment for students. We provides the highest quality of training that is reflected in the method of training - low student instruction and one on one practice on models until proficiency is demonstrated. All the courses provided in the school meet international standards, placing equal emphasis on practice and theory. Programs currently offered include full-time diploma courses and short-term enrichment courses through application of theory, demonstration and practices so that students would be able to master the dexterity of a professional esthetician upon completion of the whole program. Students' achievements would be evaluated by the end of the program and those who have satisfactorily completed their training and passes the school examination would be awarded recognized certificates of SENNIYO and historically will be qualified to sit for the licensing examination held by the Cosmetology Industry Association of British Columbia.

The mission of our school is to provide comprehensive, state of the art instruction in all aspects of aesthetics to people who are interested in aesthetics and / or those people who do not have special skills to enter the job market.

Mrs. Survana Yuen - Instructional Supervisor

Mrs. Survana Yuen, founder of "Senniyo Beauty and Figure International Inc. Co.", is a well-knowledge professional aesthetician holding a fully qualified Aesthetician License of B.C. With over 20 years of experience in the aesthetic and beauty industry, Mrs. Survana Yuen is now an owner of several beauty salons and a principal of an aesthetic school. Mrs. Survana Yuen started her aesthetic business 23 years ago when she established her first Hong Kong beauty salon in 1982. She expanded her business to Canada and started up her first beauty salon in Vancouver in 1992. With the growing trend in the aesthetic industry, Mrs. Survana Yuen further expanded her Canadian business by opening her second Canadian beauty salon in Richmond in 1994 and establishing "Spa France" in 2002. All of her salons contain the highest aesthetic technology to guarantee the best quality of service for customers.

In 1996, Mrs. Survana Yuen recognized the great demand of professional aesthetician market; hence, she was motivated to establish "Senniyo Aesthetic International School". Mrs. Survana Yuen's goal for setting up this school is to discover potential aestheticians and to provide them with professional aesthetic knowledge and skills. With Mrs. Survana Yuen's hard work, our school won Top School Medal of Cometologists'Association of BC in 2003. Due to the Senniyo Beauty Group success, Mrs. Survana Yuen won Chinese Entrepreneurs Award 2007 and Chinese Outstanding Entrepreneur 2009 of Chinese Enterprises Association in Beijing. Many graduates from Senniyo Aesthetic School are now very successful professional aestheticians and beauty salons owners in Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. Besides, Senniyo graduates are being employed by mainstream beauty salons, spas and department stores skincare counters.

Besides, a professional aesthetician, Mrs. Survana Yuen is also a famous aesthetic celebrity in North America as she is the first Asian host in the Chinese TV and Radio aesthetic shows. Events that Mrs. Survana Yuen participated include judging for the first MarkUp Competition in China, and sponsoring for the Miss Vancouver Pageant.
